Seven Mill Models Arched Girder Bridge
The Seven Mill Arched Girder Bridge is a new development in gauge O based on the famous but smaller single line Hornby Dublo version. The idea of producing a viaduct bridge went back as far as 1939 but it was first shown in a colour advertisement in Meccano Magazine as late as January 1957. Linking the Girder Bridge with 1:43 cars, vans and buses then it’s possible to recreate the Hornby Dublo model railway images that were portrayed in the Meccano Magazine of the 1950s and 1960s. The viaduct bridge has a central span of around 49cm (19”) – allowing for pillar supports (not supplied) – and has no problem crossing a double track. Its rugged construction makes it suitable as an authentic looking road bridge and is perfect for continental O gauge railways using Lehnhardt road track and trams. The Seven Mill Arched Girder Bridge can also be used in a garden railway setting as well as normal indoor use.
The Seven Mill Girder Bridge is made in the UK using high quality cast metal; it comes in two satin finished colour schemes of orange/green and battleship grey and is available in both single and double track options. Assembly is straight forward using self-tapping screws and instructions provided.
